To all Branch Members…
We are in desperate need of people to sign up to sell Poppies from November 1 – November 10. Each year, it has become increasingly more difficult to find volunteers for this, as our remaining Veterans are becoming more physically unable to help. If you are able to do even just an hour or two, it would be very greatly appreciated. All monies raised from the sale of poppies goes to help our Veterans on the Sunshine Coast. You do not need to have a uniform to sell poppies, we will provide a volunteer ribbon and badge for you to wear. The sign up sheet is posted in the front walkway of Branch #109. Thank you for your continued support.
On October 24th the First Poppy was presented to Mayor Wayne Rowe by Garry Singbeil, 1st Vice President and Poppy Chair n Wilma Jones, President of Gibsons Branch 109. Sales will commence 26th October. Money collected is used to support our Veterans and the Community.
