The Royal Canadian Legion has changed... it's not just for "veterans", it's more than a non-profit, volunteer-run organization... it is a community, a charity, it's giving, entertaining, fun, supporting,  caring.

The volunteers (volunteering veterans and active duty armed forces members) do so much for so many. We offer grants/bursaries for schools & students, support local charities in times of need (like the Food Bank and Salvation Army), host fundraisers for both our own Legion as well as many other amazing groups, offer venues for meetings, dances, weddings, sponsor sports events, actively participate in community events, all while creating a friendly, warm environment for veterans and members to enjoy dances, meals, beverages and fun.
